FUMP: Where Children Come First
We strive to create an atmosphere in which each child can develop socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually. We offer an educational experience through a flexible, well-planned program. The basis of the program is that play is learning. We offer far more than a daycare; children discover, create and connect at FUMP.
FUMP is located in the heart of downtown Austin and offers your family a unique experience with the amenities of our location. We enjoy visits from the Austin Public Library, the Austin Nature Center, the Austin Fire Department, the DPS Mounted Patrol, and more!
We accept children from 2 months to five years of age. Our classroom ratios are as follows:
Classes | Teacher-to-Child Ratio | Maximum Group Size |
Infants | 1:3 | 6 |
Toddlers | 1:4 | 8 |
Twos | 1:5 | 10 |
Threes | 1:6 | 12 |
Prekindergarten | 1:8 | 16 |
We are located in the heart of downtown Austin, directly west of the State Capitol. We are proud to be featured as a “Best Preschool” by Austin Monthly Magazine.
Accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs and certified by Texas Rising Star via the Texas WorkForce Commission.
