ALL ARE WELCOME. Below is an excerpt from the FUMC website**:
At FUMC, we strive to remain true to the United Methodist motto, Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.
Our congregation is committed to Jesus’ commandment to love thy neighbor by welcoming all ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, economic conditions, marital statuses, and mental or physical abilities to attend, join, and participate fully in the life of our congregation.
The church is pleased to sponsor the preschool and welcomes a visit from any preschool family to acquaint you with the church’s many programs and services. Please visit the FUMC CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES webpage for current news and upcoming events.
Children in the Three year old and Prekindergarten classes attend short, age-appropriate services in the Chapel. These services center around awareness of God’s world and God’s love for us. The Preschool does not teach religious or denominational doctrine, but does teach in a context of Biblical values. Parents receive Chapel Notes each week to foster the school-to-home connection.
**Special needs children are accepted based on the preschool’s ability to meet their specific individual requirements.
