First United Methodist Preschool operates Monday through Friday, during the hours of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Classes offered: Monday through Friday; Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday; or Thursday/Friday.
Before School Care (BSC) is available at 8:15 am.
After School Care (ASC) is available until 2:45 pm. After School Care is only offered Monday through Thursday.
We generally follow the calendar for the Austin Independent School District, with the school year typically running from mid-August through late-May. Optional summer terms are offered in June and July.

First United Methodist Preschool is located on Lavaca Street & 12th Street on the west side of the Capitol in downtown Austin.
The church’s physical address is 1201 Lavaca Street, but our parking lot is accessed from Colorado Street between 12th and 13th Streets. (You may use 1220 Colorado Street in navigating to our parking lot.) It is the only driveway on the block and it is a surface parking lot, not a parking garage. Our main door is located in the parking lot on the north side of the building and has a brown awning.
FUMP is located at a Capitol MetroRapid stop, Austin’s newest line of urban transportation. The MetroRapid boasts of wi-fi, smartphone ticketing and arrival times, stroller accessibility (no steps!), and green light control to get you there faster.
