Our Summer Program

The FUMP Summer Program is CLOSED to the general public and only open to families enrolled in First United Methodist Preschool.

We typically run a 7-week program beginning in early June and ending in late July. Depending on space availability, we have enrolled FUMP alumni children and/or alumni school-aged children. Also, in some cases, we have enrolled children who have been accepted for the coming school year.

The summer registration process differs from regular school-year registration; it is based on a first-come, first-served basis without regard to seniority or the number of days attended during the school year. We typically plan for only 5 to 6 classes during the summer. This may result in multi-age groupings and the combining of classes. Please be aware that your child’s current teacher and classmates are also subject to change.

Summer Session Registration begins after spring break, and Before and After School Care Registration will occur in late May.

Summer tuition incorporates a 15-20% increase to sustain the program. As the number of classes is reduced each summer, the increased tuition creates a balanced summer budget. There is a registration fee of $150 per session/per child that will apply toward your child’s tuition. The balance of your tuition payment will be due on the first day of each session.

Children should wear comfortable, washable play clothes to move easily and be free to play and explore (get messy). Please send your child wearing sunscreen and any other sun-related sun protection. Outdoor play will be limited based on outside temperatures as necessary.
