FUM PRESCHOOL WAITLIST FORM
How do I get on the waitlist for possible openings?
Families are encouraged to secure a position on our waitlist (The electronic form is located at the bottom of this page). A non-refundable waitlist fee of $10 per child is due with each family’s application to the Preschool. This will maintain your position on the waitlist through January 2020. Our waitlist clears annually to ensure that we are servicing active applications for enrollment. Each January, you will be contacted via email to renew your application. To renew your application, there will be a $10 waitlist fee applied to your account. If we do not receive your request and payment each year, we will clear your application from our records. Being on the waitlist DOES NOT guarantee your child a spot in our program.
Please note that you may place multiple children on the waitlist application portal; use the “add child” button on the bottom of the first page.
****It is your responsibility to contact us with any updated contact information (i.e. phone numbers, new address, etc.)
How do I pay my waitlist fee?
Prospective parents may pay the $10 waitlist fee online through the FUMC PAYMENT WEBSITE (please scroll down to select the “preschool wait list” under the “fund” listing) or by personal check payable to “FUM Preschool.”

Tours are scheduled by the director, Sandy Pennington. You may call us at 512-478-5709 or EMAIL THE PRESCHOOL OFFICE, and we will set up an appointment. We welcome children on tours of our program. We look forward to hearing from you.
What our Parents Say
Our parents love their experiences with us and rave about our caring teachers. Read on for a sampling of comments from our teacher evaluations from the 2017-2018 school year. You can read more on our MEET OUR STAFF page.
The teachers are our favorite thing about the program! They have been amazing, and have been so attentive to our son and it has had a noticeable impact on him. He loves going to school, and he feels so safe and secure with them. |
I like how small the program is, how the staff have been there for so many years, and how much everyone cares for the children. The floaters/substitutes all know the names of all of the children and actively engage with them, which I appreciate. I also like that there are extra-curriculars included in the week, like gym and music. |
The program has been so great for all of our kids. We really like that FUMP seems to tailor the curriculum to the particular needs/interests of each class each year as opposed to feeling beholden to a set curriculum that might not be particularly right for a certain class in a certain year. We really love that FUMP adheres to a play-based curriculum approach. It is probably the primary reason we have prioritized staying at the school despite the inconvenience of it not being a full-day program. We also really love the enrichment activities that have been added to the preK program over the past few years - trips to Zach, bus ride to campus, visitors from Austin Nature Center, etc. Our kids have really enjoyed these activities! Overall, we have had a great experience at FUMP. |
